“Circa, downtown Las Vegas’ newest casino, isn’t scheduled to open until Oct. 28. But Circa Sports already has expanded to other states. Circa Sports sportsbook, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary in Nevada, announced Wednesday the launch of its mobile sports betting app in Colorado.
The Circa Sports Colorado app will be run out of Las Vegas, where Circa Sports launched a mobile app in June 2019, as well as two physical books at Golden Gate and the D Las Vegas. ‘We’re going to take what Circa Sports has been doing in Nevada and we’re excited about expanding the operation to Colorado,’ Golden Gate and D Las Vegas owner Derek Stevens said.“
“The Colorado sports betting market welcomes another mobile operator: Circa Sports. The Las Vegas-based sportsbook launched its app in the Centennial State on Wednesday, almost exactly one year after rolling out its first mobile sports betting offering in Nevada.
Circa Sports offers Colorado bettors another option for line shopping, offering odds on all the the major sports (once leagues resume play). In the meantime, the book offers markets for UFC, golf, soccer and more.“
“And then when I look at what Circa Sports is doing, they help me smile more about baseball and the smell of fresh-cut grass. The operation is just barely a year old in Las Vegas with locations at the Golden Gate and The D waiting for their new home at the Circa expected to open in October where they will take over the claim as world’s largest sportsbook. But the offerings and opinions in their prices make them a must look, especially with the season win totals that are completely different from what any other book posted.“
“Circa Sports is the brainchild of casino owner and downtown Las Vegas developer Derek Stevens, who is an avid sports fan and gambler. This app launch follows Circa Resort and Casino announcing it will open the world’s largest sportsbook in Las Vegas in October, a multi-level, stadium-style sportsbook on the 35th floor of the 777-room resort.“
“Downtown Las Vegas’ newest casino, Circa, is now taking reservations for its sportsbook, claimed to be the largest in the world once it opens later this year. The 1.25 million-square-foot resort casino, set to open Oct. 28, will feature a stadium-style sportsbook with a three-story, 78-million-pixel screen. The space can fit up to 1,000 fans, according to a Tuesday news release.
Guests can reserve a spot at the sportsbook day of or in advance, with pricing varying by occasion. Reservations are available at www.circalasvegas.com/sportsbook.“
“Bruce Marshall of The Gold Sheet called into the top of this hour to share his soccer observations and discusses which team in the English League Championship has the potential of getting promoted to the EPL. Bruce also breaks down his La Liga leans. Mike Palm of Circa Sports joined the last half of the show to discuss the latest involving the new Circa Sportsbook.“
“Circa Sports Colorado combines a customer-first approach to business with a team of the country’s top oddsmakers, 8 News Now reports. The company posted on Twitter saying that activating a Circa Sports Colorado mobile wagering account will be possible from anywhere.“
“Colorado sports betting got a competitive fuel injection on Wednesday when Circa Sports went live with its mobile app in one of the newest states to enact legal, regulated wagering. The Las Vegas-based company of Derek Stevens, who owns The D, Golden Gate and the soon-to-open Circa Resort, officially took its first step outside the Nevada market.
Mike Van Ermen, strategic operations manager for Circa Sports, talked with Covers about today’s milestone moment.“
“Circa is looking to raise the stakes. While Circa representatives declined to divulge the estimated square footage of the retail sportsbook, a company spokesperson told Sports Handle that Circa’s viewing boards, including its odds board, will be 40% larger than the SuperBook’s. Stevens, who maintains an amicable relationship with Superbook USA management, expects to have a little fun with their new rivals as each stake their claim to the title.
‘It will be the largest in the world,’ Stevens said of his new property. ‘I’m a big fan of Westgate, but ours will be bigger.’“
“First, Circa Sports created a rival to the Westgate’s SuperContest last year. Now the sportsbooks will hold competing contest weekends to attract entrants. The Westgate will hold its ninth annual SuperContest Weekend on Aug. 21 and 22. Circa recently announced that it would hold its first Football Contest Weekend on the same dates.
Circa will host panel discussions Aug. 21 with betting experts and a meet-and-greet at the D Las Vegas on Aug. 22. The Westgate will have experts on hand to talk with entrants both days and will host its annual golf outing Aug. 22.
Circa sportsbook operations manager Jeffrey Benson called Circa’s relationship with the Westgate ‘a friendly rivalry.’ ‘We’re respectful of what they’re doing and what they have going on,’ he said. ‘We have a very good contest in our own right.’“
“With an earlier than slated opening date for his Circa Resort & Casino, Las Vegas CEO and developer Derek Stevens is clearly enthused about what the venue will bring to Downtown Las Vegas and unveiling what will be the world’s largest sportsbook.
The October 28 launch will see the introduction of a 1.25 million-square-foot integrated casino-resort comprising five floors of amenities and a three-story sportsbook with 1,000 employees working to ensure a world-class experience for guests.“
“The Circa brand made its first movements outside of Nevada with a sports betting launch in Colorado. Owner Derek Stevens told LSR he’s excited by remote registration and funding, with the regulations setting up what he expects to be a ‘heck of a great market for everybody.’ Circa Sports brings its focus on providing the best value to Colorado. The sportsbook also won’t shy away from sharps just like in Nevada.“
really hope @BET decides to air HBCU sports soon. An HBCU Game Day show would be great.
Not only sports, but also develop programming that extends beyond reality shows. Travel, cooking, home renovations, news, etc.
There's so much opportunity.

If masks and social distancing in the summer improve our odds of football, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball and XC in the fall, would you make the sacrifice?
If playing in the fall depends on sacrificing in the summer, would you do what it takes?
I will. I promise.
