Exciting 2024 Las Vegas Summer Events to Attend

Friends Having Fun at Las Vegas Summer Events

Summertime in Las Vegas is chock-full of fun events for all ages. Whether you’re off for a few weeks in the summer months or want to add some spice to a long weekend, Las Vegas is a great place to visit during your summer break. With concerts, pool parties, festivals, and more, there’s no shortage of things to do during your summer days. Here’s how to spend your summer vacation in Vegas.

Circa Stadium Swim

Las Vegas is hot in the summer, but thankfully, there are plenty of respites from the heat, including the popular Circa Stadium Swim®, a huge outdoor pool and sports-watching venue. The pool is open daily, and you can rent cabanas, daybeds, water couches, and more – meaning there are plenty of spaces to lounge and cool off on a hot day.

Throughout the summer, catch all of the biggest sports games on the 143-foot TV screen, or visit the pool on the weekends for dance music, drinks, and party vibes.

Live Music in Las Vegas

Throughout the summer, big-name musicians make stops in Las Vegas for one-off concerts or full-blown residencies. You can visit venues like the iconic Sphere or catch shows at big-name casinos like Caesars Palace and Park MGM. From country to pop to old-school rock and roll, plenty of live music events are happening throughout the city this summer. Don’t know where to start? Here are a few suggestions:

  • Dead and Company Dead Forever Residency at the Sphere through August 10
  • Shania Twain Come on Over Vegas Residency at Planet Hollywood starting August 23

There’s also a plethora of free live music to check out at the Fremont Street Experience, including:

Las Vegas Summer Festivals

It’s not truly summer without a calendar full of festivals, right? Luckily, Las Vegas is a great place to be for any festival fan. Here are a few to choose from:

Las Vegas Indoor Summer Beer Festival

July 20

Cold brews in an indoor, air-conditioned venue are the name of the game at the first-ever Las Vegas Indoor Summer Beer Festival. Taking place at the Ahern Hotel, the beer festival promises all-you-can-drink brews from a range of craft breweries (Big Dog’s, Sierra Nevada, CraftHaus, and more), in addition to music and games.

Exodus Festival

July 25-29, August 29-September 2

Every summer, the Exodus Festival brings a range of DJs to Las Vegas for multiple weekends of live music and good times. The parties take place across the city, at both pools and in nightclubs, letting you decide where you want to go to get your groove on. Returning festival guests know it’s best to get an Exodus Festival Pass so you can get free entry to the dance parties and skip the line while you’re at it.

Big Blues Bender

September 5-8

If you’re more of a blues fan, you’ll want to make plans to visit Las Vegas toward the end of summer for the annual Big Blues Bender festival, a four-day music experience at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. Musicians, including Beth Hart, Los Lobos, Samantha Fish, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Eric Gales, take over five stages in the casino.

Woman at Legacy Club Rooftop Bar Event in Summer

Legacy Club Events

For sweeping Las Vegas views and a fun-filled summer events calendar, Legacy Club at Circa Resort & Casino is a must. The rooftop venue is 60 stories above ground level and offers a range of fun events all summer long and an impressive cocktail menu.

No matter when you’re at the Legacy Club, you can book the sunset package to take in evening views of Las Vegas and enjoy a champagne toast. Or, you can book tickets for the annual Great Gatsby party, a themed celebration on Saturday, August 3, where you can wear your finest ‘20s attire while enjoying live music and an open bar. Keep in mind that there’s a costume contest, too, so you truly want to come dressed in your best.

The Sphere

The Sphere is Las Vegas’s newest attraction, and it not only offers plenty to see and do but is also a great place to tuck into for a break from the sun. The immersive arena is home to concerts and shows on select days, but you can also visit the attraction for daily interactive art exhibitions, all-encompassing, multi-sensory films, and more. Tickets sell out fast, so you should book your spot at the Sphere before getting to the city.

Las Vegas in the summer is full of endless possibilities. Whether you’re seeking incredible parties, top-notch live music, thrilling adventures, or unforgettable casino experiences, this city has it all and more. So, pack your summer essentials, bring your sense of adventure, book your room at Golden Gate Las Vegas, and get ready to create memories that will last a lifetime.
